He then travelled to Medkya, Poland and then Shehyni, Ukraine in June 2022 where he helped treat refugees that were fleeing the war. He worked with the French-Israeli Relief Organization, Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) which translates to Doctors without Borders.

In October 2022, Dr. Gross travelled to Montevideo, Uruguay where he again taught surgeons and treated children and adults with recurrent clubfeet, complex limb deformity, and post-traumatic arthritis with Steps2Walk.

Dr. Gross’s most recent humanitarian trip was to Temuco, Chiles in September 2023 wherein he treated the indigenous Chileans at a unique hospital that combined both traditional and Western medicine. He performed revision surgeries on patients who needed complex limb reconstruction.
